WHEN TO PLAN- You can plan your trip anytime between October to April. Every year a big fair popularly known as Ashokastami Mela is held in the month of April which is visited by thousands of pilgrims. Another smaller festival takes place in January.

THINGS TO DO-
- Witness the different rock-cut sculptures, among one of them is is a 33-ft-high bust of Lord Shiva. It includes an 11-ft-high headgear which is now partly broken. The bust is the central figure in the complex and is locally called Unakotiswara Kalabhairava.
- There are many other sculptures depicted as Lord Vishnu, Goddess Durga, Lord Surya, and many others.
- On each side of Shiva’s sculpture, there are two figures of goddesses, said to be of Ma Durga on a lion, and Goddess Ganga on Makara.
- Enjoy the beautiful landscape of the place and get the exotic view of nature and spot different types of birds on the trees of the forest around.
