Day wise itinerary
Day 1- Our representative will meet you at Guwahati airport or railway station and will transfer you to the hotel. Spend the remaining day by visiting Kamakhya temple and Umananda Temple, followed by a comfy overnight stay.
Day 2- Post breakfast we will leave for Jorhat, the tea country. Upon arrival, check into a hotel. In the evening you are free to roam around Garh Ali, the main commercial hub of Jorhat town. Visit the handicrafts shops and purchase anything you like.
Day 3- After breakfast, we will go for an excursion to Sivasagar. Visit the Tai Ahom Museum and the Maidams (Mummy like structures) of Ahom kings Burial grounds at Charaideo, artificial lake created by Queen Madambika in, Shivdol-the tallest Shiv temple in the world, palaces of Kareng Ghar & Talatal Ghar and Gaurisagar Tank, along with three temples. Return back to Jorhat and enjoy the evening roaming in the tea gardens.
Day 4- After breakfast leave for the Kaziranga via Majuli. Drive up to the Nimati Ghat, the ferry point for Majuli. Upon reaching board the ferry for Majuli the biggest River Island in the world and seat of Baishnavite monasteries. Cross the mighty Brahmaputra on a ferry to reach the historic island. Upon arrival, pay a visit to Satras. Later drive to Kaziranga. Transfer to a wildlife resort on reaching. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 5- Get up early for elephant safari into the forest. Our representative will take you to the elephant riding point by jeeps. Here you will be carried through the tall grass. Return for breakfast and go for a Jeep Safari in the park in the afternoon, spend some time at the Donga view point, situated in western zone. Return to the resort for overnight stay.
Day 6- After breakfast move to pobitora wildlife sanctuary and spend the rest of the day in the pobitora wildlife sanctuary. Overnight stay at resort in Pabitora.
Day 7- Early morning Jeep Safari to the wildlife sanctuary, to get a glance of the wild animals. After breakfast leave for Guwhati. Once you reach Guwhati the trip ends.
