Nathula pass is a mountain pass in the Himalayas. It connects the Indian state of Sikkim with China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Nathu means "listening ears" and La means "pass" in Tibetan. On the Indian side, the pass is 54 km (34 mi) east of Gangtok, the capital of Indian state of Sikkim on JN Marg and only citizens of India can visit the pass, that too after obtaining a permit in Gangtok. The pass remains closed on Monday and Tuesday, because of security purpose and is allowed to visit 5 days a week only to Indian Nationals.
The foreign citizens can only go upto Changu Lake or Tsmongo lake.
Major "Baba" Harbhajan Singh was an Indian army soldier who died near the Nathula Pass in eastern Sikkim, India. He is revered by soldiers of the Indian army as the "Hero of Nathula" and the army men have also built a shrine in his honour. He has been accorded the status of saint by believers who refer to him as the Baba (saintly father). The shrine built in his honour is commonly called as Baba Mandir.

Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1- Guest will be received by our official at Bagdogra Airport IXB / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station NJP – He will assist guest for the forwarding journey to Gangtok. All the necessary govt. Permit will be asked for. Evening free. Overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day 2- Permits are made one day prior to journey, early morning after breakfast, drive for 2 hours and get to the Changu Lake, enjoy the cool serene atmosphere, then leave for Nathu la pass and baba Mandir. After the full day excursion return back to Gangtok, overnight stay.
Day 3- Local sightseeing in Gangtok, early morning visit Tashi view point and get the extremely beautiful look of the nature. Evening free for shopping and visiting mall, flower show and handicrafts & handloom research institute of Tibetology.
Day 4- Move for a full day trip for local sightseeing in Gangtok like Do DrulChorten Stupa, Enchey Monastery, White Hall, Ganesh Tok, Ranka / Rumtek Monastery. Late evening return to hotel and night stay.
