The word 'Jagat' actually means "The World', so it was the world of the Lepchas. Subsequently the area was taken over by the West Bengal Forest development Corporation (WBFDC) and it is now a reserved forest area.
Lepchajagat is all about dense forested area full with pines, oaks and rhododendrons. And all that is combined with magnificent views of Kanchenjunga peaks, wonderful birdlife and serene tranquility.

Day Wise Itinerary
Day 1 -On arrival at Bagdogra airport / New Jalpaiguri Rly. Station you will be received by our representative, who will be waiting for a warm welcome just outside of the airport / Rly. Station by your nameplate /your referral and proceed for lepchajagat (7200 ft. / 85 km / 3 ½ hrs), The Queen of natural Hill’s. Through the lush pine tree which stands by its unique style in the Himalaya. Arrivals at lepchajagat & night Holt.
Day 2- Wake up early and have your breakfast. Then you will check out from the hotel and along with local sightseeing in Lepchajagat like Rangbhang, Orange vally, Mangarjungoan and Gopal dhara Tea- Estate, you will be transferred to Darjeeling.The evening is leisure for you to visit Darjeeling Mall and do the shopping for near and dear ones. Overnight stay at Darjeeling.
Day 3- Early morning drive to Tiger Hill and watch the phenomenal sunrise in the valley of Mt. Khangchendzonga. On you way back visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit some more famous places of Darjeeling such as Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P. N. Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre, Tea Garden outer view, Ropeway, and Japanese Temple. Night halt in Darjeeling.
Day 4- Post breakfast checkout from the hotel and proceed for a thrilling excursion to Kalimpong while visiting Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Dr. Graham’s Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills & Flower Nurseries. Night stay at Kalimpong.
Day 5- Post breakfast leave for NJP or Bagdogra Airport with the beautiful memories to cherish.
